*this is a place-based performance collaboration between Geneva Foster Gluck and Racheal Rios. As two female artist, native to Tucson Arizona, we aim to take up space in a male dominated art world. Currently, *this is developing a site specific “gallery” that will integrate live and virtual spaces and will explore the continued a/effects of Manifest Destiny and female labor in a place where South becomes North.
In 2021 *this presented Blood Water, a multi-disciplinary performance at the Pidgin Palace Art Space in Tucson Arizona. Below is an expert of the video shown inside the gallery while we performed the actions live outside, before entering the space.
